Having trained and qualified as a general nurse I found a passion in women's health. This led into the midwifery field where a higher diploma was achieved through Trinity College Dublin. I have a diverse and specialist medical background as a dual qualified nurse and midwife with a wide range of skills and experience.
Although passionate about my role as a midwife I felt a need to broaden my skills further and looked at complementary therapies, that would enhance and expand my skills. I initially trained as a holistic massage therapist, reflexologist, infant massage therapist and instructor, Indian head massage and reiki master before finding another deep passion - homeopathy. This led me to study for a BSc honours degree in homeopathy - a qualification that gives a licentiate to practice as a homeopath and is recognised by all the registering bodies and insurance organisations.
These qualifications, (RGN, RM, B.Sc) experience, personality and passion for both Midwifery and homeopathy cannot be duplicated and are reflected in the integrated approach I adopt. This integrated approach combines the latest clinical thinking with established complementary therapies.
Having spent my career in the health care sector (NHS, private and overseas), I am a highly experienced midwife and am dedicated to empower you to take responsibility for your health and well-being.
